Mining & Resources
Heavy diesel mechanics, boilermakers, drillers, plant operators and HSE advisers.
Employer-sponsored roles in resources, health, construction and logistics — from metropolitan Sydney and Melbourne to FIFO rosters in the Pilbara.

Australia's skilled migration system is occupation-list driven and employer-sponsored at the point of hire. The employer must be an approved sponsor and must nominate the specific role before a visa can be granted.
Our Sydney partner desk covers the eastern states, and we work with resources contractors in Western Australia and Queensland. Trades and health roles frequently carry a residence pathway; check the detail before you accept, because it varies by occupation and by visa stream.
Licensed trades — electrical, plumbing, gas — require state licensing, and health professionals require AHPRA registration. Neither is quick. Begin them as soon as you decide Australia is your direction.
These are the sectors where we hold live employer relationships. If your trade is not listed, ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Australian wages are high and so is the cost of living in the capital cities. Regional and resources roles pay significantly more, often with camp accommodation and flights included — but a two-and-one roster is a real change to family life and deserves an honest conversation before you sign.
Superannuation is compulsory and employer-funded, healthcare is strong, and annual leave is four weeks plus public holidays. Distances are enormous; a domestic flight can be five hours.

Fly-in fly-out: you fly to a remote site, work a set roster such as two weeks on and one week off, and live in camp accommodation. The pay is excellent and the work is real. Whether it suits you depends far more on your family situation than on the money, and we will talk that through before you apply.
For most sponsored occupations, yes. It is carried out by a designated assessing authority for your trade or profession, and it takes time. Start it as soon as you decide on Australia.
Several employer-sponsored streams lead to permanent residence, particularly in regional areas and for occupations on the medium and long-term lists. It depends on your occupation, age, English and location. A registered migration agent should map it for your circumstances.
Our Sydney desk covers New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia directly, and we work with resources contractors in Western Australia. Tasmania and the Northern Territory we take case by case.
