How Empres Recruitment collects, uses, stores and deletes your personal information, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us — your name, contact details, CV, qualifications, work history, referee details, right-to-work documentation and, where relevant to a placement, passport and visa information. For employers, we collect business contact details and the role information you provide.
Why we collect it
To assess your suitability for roles, present you to employers with your consent, coordinate visa applications with licensed advisers, and meet our legal record-keeping obligations.
Who we share it with
Employers, only with your knowledge and consent, and only the information relevant to that role. Licensed immigration advisers, where you have asked us to coordinate a visa application. Service providers who host our systems under confidentiality obligations. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Candidate files are retained for three years from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them earlier or a legal obligation requires longer retention.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@empresrecruitment.com and we will respond within twenty working days.
